Global Source
A new site and an internal platform for an industrial equipment distributor.
Global Source distributes industrial equipment from Săcele, near Brașov: Hirox digital microscopes, 3D scanners, metrology, Universal Robots cobots, industrial 3D printing and ESD furniture. More than 40 brands, sold to manufacturers such as Bosch, Continental, Schaeffler, Autoliv and Hella.
The Challenge
A complete redesign that keeps what the old site had earned. Its product pages already held their Google rankings, so every existing address had to survive the move. And the team needed more than a shop window: one place where a request goes from first contact to quote, demo and calibration.
The Approach
Kept every one of the 453 live URLs, with their titles, meta descriptions and product text, so the rankings carry over. Ported 284 products and 108 listings, with every photo hosted on the site itself.
A new dark design in the brand's own colours, with an animated wave backdrop and an interactive 3D workbench hero where the microscope, the scanner and the cobot each lead into their range.
Product pages built for engineers: a cursor lens that magnifies a real macro photo, and quote and demo requests that reach the team carrying the product they were sent from.
Behind the site, a platform for the team: their own accounts and login, client accounts, a live request board with owners and history, a demo and trial tracker, a service and calibration calendar that books the next calibration by itself, team management, and an AI assistant that reads the board and assigns requests.

The Outcome
In build. The site and the platform run on a staging address while the work continues with the Global Source team. Next come real 3D scans of the products for a virtual demo, and a local AI assistant that helps configure microscope orders.
