Case Study
Italian Kids
A custom online shop for a children's clothing store in Brăila.
Italian Kids sells Italian children's clothing from a physical store in Brăila and online. Its previous shop ran on WordPress and WooCommerce, and when the developer walked away it was left showing a 'store under construction' page with twelve products.
The Challenge
A shop with a cart, a checkout and two languages, built from scratch on a modern stack, with a design that reads as premium Italian fashion rather than a template, and with card payments through a Romanian processor.
The Approach
Rebuilt the whole shop in Next.js, Romanian by default with an Italian version, no WordPress left anywhere.
Designed the homepage on a high end fashion reference with editorial typography, then carried the same motion language through the product, collection and checkout pages.
Cart and checkout with cash on delivery working end to end, card payments wired to the Romanian processor and switched on the moment the merchant credentials arrive. Orders reach the store by email.
What We Delivered
- ✓Custom shop, no templates, no WordPress
- ✓Bilingual, Romanian and Italian
- ✓Cart and checkout with cash on delivery
- ✓Card payments ready for the processor credentials
- ✓Order emails to the store, contact page, about page in the owner's words
The Outcome
In build. The shop is complete on our side and waiting on the store: product catalogue, payment credentials and the domain switch. Then it goes live on italiankids.ro.
